The figure of a cyclist almost transformed into a pure graphic symbol of power and speed, a lightening bolt in primary colors that leads the eye to the brand name, is a striking image. The brief bright flash of Favre's career left a large body of fine poster work (c. 1927-1935 with many bicycle posters). The details of his life aren't clear.
