All this sparkle and effulgence advertises a dance hall in Paris at the time of the 1900 World's Fair. Whoever ordered this poster knew what publicity was all about. In this Orazi masterpiece, carefully graduated pastel tones, delicate oranges, yellows and pink, plus golden flakes, permeate the image of Terpsichore, the Greek muse of dance, in airy step, pouring a golden liquid into a chalice from which a cascade of bubbles descends.
